I visited this little Graveyard for the second time since the summer of 2012. Realizing after the first visit, and another year of research; that family are interred there.
The first visit left me with a rather uneasy feeling as though I was unwelcome! This last visit was very different; for some odd reason I felt surrounded by love!
I have photographed and recorded all of the headstones in this Graveyard, some are legible and some not. If you have family buried in The Templecormac Graveyard feel free to get in touch and I will be happy to send photos!

I have always been interested in researching my family tree and “hanging out” in cemeteries. Like most of us... I didn't ask enough questions when elderly family were still living. Oh, what I would give for 24 hours and a camera with my ancestors… just to sit and listen!
I'm researching many family lines, including: Murdoch, Wilson, Berry, Love, Scott, Beattie/Beatty, Hendren, Sweeney, Robinson and Elvin; just to name a few. My families are predominantly from counties Antrim, Donegal and Londonderry. However, it seems that many of them, both maternal and paternal lines, originally hailed from Co. Donegal.
I was born and raised in Northern Ireland and now live in Ottawa, Canada, making frequent trips back home to visit with my family. Of course those visits also include treks to the many burial grounds of my ancestors. My most recent trip back home was during the summer of 2019! Looking forward to August of 2020 when I will return.

TWISTED LIMBS & CROOKED BRANCHES 
Hi there, I’m researching Crossan and Murphy in the Belfast area. It would seem that the Crossan’s were in Balinderry Co, Antrim. I was wondering if there are any Crossans in Templecormac Graveyard? If not, do you know of any another cemetaries in Balinderry Parish, Co. Antrim that would have burials from the late 1700’s to the mid-1800’s? Thank you. (P.S. I’m in Canada as well-Quebec to be precise)

Hi Suzanne, although I don’t have the name Crossan or Murphy in my tree; the Crossan name is “ringing bells”. I’m sure I’ve come across some headstones with those names. On my last trip back home, I documented many graveyards and cemeteries in the Ballinderry area (it’s where I stayed for most of my 3 week trip; my aunt lives there). Over the next few days I’ll go through all the photos (hundreds of them, literally) and see what I can find. Unfortunately, I haven’t had time to transcribe them all yet; so it means going through all the jpeg files. I have added Temple to http://billiongraves.com if you would like to add the headstone photos to it Colleen? I have added photos for Trummery thus far and I will hopefully add a few more in the surrounding area including the Middle Church.

Hi Killultagh? I have photographed many of the cemeteries in that area. Unfortunately, at this point in time I don’t have time to enter them into the billion graves website. Thanks, I’ll definitely do what I can when I have a moment. I’m rather “buried” in documents and photos at the moment since my list trip back home in July/August of last yet. 🙂
